We normally encourage our customers to buy their own domains first however if need be we can purchase and manage domains on their behalf.
- >>We will register the domain under the client’s name
- >>Once purchased it makes sense to manage the domain account in one place -keep all control functionalities under one roof
- >>it simplifies creation and management of emails
- >>With one point of contact it’s easier and often much quicker to deal with any domain/email issues
- >>If you are familiar with Microsoft outlook or any other email client, we can configure your email account so you can use your favourite email client to send and receive emails
- >>At Solumac we offer email packages for all businesses’ sizes and requirements at excellent value.
Your domain name for your website is an important factor when deciding to establish an online presence for your business.
- If you buy your domain and ever change your web host, your domain name goes with you. Your regular visitors or customers who knew your site name as “www.solumac.com” would not have to be informed about a change of URL. They would simply type your domain name and they would be brought to your new site.
- Keep your domain name as short as possible and simple, it needs to be memorable, and preferably not contain hyphens.
-
If you are a business, a domain name gives you credibility. Avoid domains like “http://www.thisismyecommerce website/example/shop”
-
If you get a domain name that describes your company's business or name, people can remember the name easily and can return to your site without having to consult their documents
- If you want good sponsors (advertisers) for your website, a domain name is usually helpful. It tends to give your website a respectable image.
- You can check domain availability from site like 123-reg & ukREG,
To give a professional image we often encourage our clients to associate their emails with their domain whenever possible ie admin@solumac.com is preferred to solumac@hotmail.com or solumac@yahoo.com
You can specify different accounts for different departments e,g admin@solumac.com, accounts@solumac.com etc.
A domain email address is easier to remember, more intuitive, and more professional-sounding. But more importantly, a domain email address is not owned or controlled by an Internet Service Provider (ISP).
